The Farmers National Bank of Prophetstown respects the privacy of all Bank customers and has never shared customer personal information with outside third parties, except for normal reporting of creditworthiness to consumer credit agencies, and in connection with providing services to customers such as printing personal checks. In all cases, only the information required to service a customer's account is provided to these service providers.
A recently enacted consumer protection law requires Banks and other financial organizations to provide to all customers an annual "Privacy Notice". In order to comply, the following generic notice, which includes terminology required by the law, is being sent to all customers.

Privacy Notice
Categories Of Information A Bank May Collect - In the normal course of transacting business with a customer, the Bank collects the following types of information:
· Information from consumers, such as: name, address, telephone number, date of birth and personal financial information.
· Transaction information, such as: account balance and transaction history
· Credit report information, such as: credit history and amount of credit
Categories Of Information A Bank May Disclose - The Bank does not disclose nonpublic personal information about a customer or former customer to third parties except to consumer credit agencies and other service providers such as check printers and ATM card manufacturers, which is permitted by law.
Information Disclosed To Service Providers And Joint Marketers - The Bank does not use third party marketing organizations to market its products, but on occasion may disclose information collected about a customer to third party providers in order to assist in performing services for customers, such as printing checks and issuing new ATM cards.
Disclosures Regarding Confidentiality And Security Of Information - Only Bank employees who have a need to use customer nonpublic personal information in connection with a Bank transaction have access to this information. The Bank has policies and procedures in place to protect the confidential nature of customer information.
